		<description>Hi Karen-

You know, black and white is not all bad. The symplicity of the look with the choice of typeface adds a great deal to the site.

On a readability issue, that is from a disabilities standpoint, black letters on a white background is the most generally preferred pattern.

While I have not stood next to jet engines repeatedly, I find that my vision is not what it was. I need bright light. If the paper is glossy, I often take off my glasses to be able to focus. So, from my perspective, the type is good....and if you feel you must go to three columns, fine, but I think the current look is clean, clear, uncluttered, readable, dare I say "elegant" in its design.

Michael

P.S. I like the content, too!
