Movable Type 3.1 Coming Out This Afternoon

Update: MT 3.1 has been released, just 4 hours and 45 minutes before class starts. I’m drooling to install it, but It Shall Have To Wait.

This Just In, via e-mail from MT: “We’re happy to announce that this afternoon we will be releasing Movable Type 3.1.” I’m entitled to a copy of it, since I’m a licensed user. Oh yeah… sniff… just as soon as school starts! Like I can do this now!

If you install it, let me know how it goes. I’m excited by its new features. Everyone is raving about the dynamic page functionalities, but I’m more intrigued by the subcategories and the post scheduling.

Maybe I’ll reward myself later this month with an evening of software upgrades (I know, “be still my heart”). Post scheduling could be handy during crunch periods!
