Oh dear. . . if I am in for a future in which I am forced to buy a razor, I may have to switch fields. So far, so good, though. I do wear skirts (of all lengths) to my current library job, though I do try to avoid wearing sleeveless garments. (I also try to avoid wearing clothing with holes or stains. . . really, I'm making an effort).

I didn't shave anything from 1977 to 1993. It was a combo of politics and saving time, and saving money on razors, et al. I felt it was pretty clear I wasn't a prepubescent girl or a Barbie (TM) doll. However, I eventually ended up in a position where I had to represent MPOW to the public. I wore pant suits, I wore very long skirts, I wore black tights. I got really tired of pant suits and long skirts and black tights and my boss was still unhappy. I neglected to mention this is a pretty buttoned-up section of the east coast. So I caved, clogging many drains, cutting myself much, HATING stubble, feeling...like it is all ridiculous. The family members who spent better than 15 years complaining about my furry limbs DIDN'T NOTICE when I started shaving. Am I a better or different representative of MPOW? I still haven't figured that one out. It's back to another discussion of library/ian marketing.

I have emancipated my legs from the razor. They have been left in their natural state since August 1999. It's too much bother to shave them, and since I rarely wear shorts, and never wear dresses/skirts, it's not an issue. Maybe you should consider emancipating your legs from the razor. It might give you more time for reading, writing, or blogging. ;)
