Note: the actual date of the EB conference call was 10/12, not 10/11. ALA had sent out a message in error but not in time to correct it for its digest subscribers. I still squint at that chronology, but what the hell.
So this morning I find out that ALA will, indeed, hold its annual [...]
Since the dawn of RSS time for My Place of Work, Bloglines has been a very good friend. We offer a tutorial (emphasizing that Bloglines is free! easy! web-based! etc.), but that isn’t all that’s involved.
The growth has gone from respectable to exponential. Here’s the end-of-quarter stats on MPOW Bloglines Subscribers:
9/30/04: 2400
12/31/04: 2900
3/30/05: 3600
6/30/05: [...]

Yummy! I’ve already added a review [...]
I couldn’t remember why I was so tired today (though getting up at 6 a.m. to write was some part of it) until I remembered I was at a conference all last weekend, worked all week (very long days, as we deglitched MPOW, a predictable outcome of such a big change), got up at 5:30 [...]
MPOW received this very nice basket today congratulating MPOW on the successful launch of our new site. (Emma pushed Dot away so she could get a better look.) When the delivery man came to the door, he looked at me in my bathrobe and said, “I thought I was delivering this to a business.” I [...]
The new site looks lovely, and aside from a few redirects that got overlooked in the haste to get a move on before the “old” site was closed down (we were down to the wire…), it’s going great. Plus nobody’s pacemaker will stop if a link doesn’t work until late morning tomorrow.
I had one [...]
