Last Friday’s Crowd

November 14, 2005 at 2:55 pm by K.G. Schneider · No Comments ·

Christine Boese did a really good job linking to everyone at last Friday’s IF:Book meeting. I’m glad, because I’m still dog-paddling through my homework, with no relief in sight. Tonight, two more chapters of Sebald after I finish this week’s workshop critiques. (I love getting into the mind of the other writers in my class. I learn so much from what they do. I really love reading their writing and watching them pull together Their Craft at the molecule level. It’s the best way to learn.)

By the way, during our day-long chat session I used a number of WorldCat URLs to share books we were discussing. No one commented–they just clicked away. I much prefer these URLs to Amazon; they feel so much less like I’m promoting a bookstore and much more like I’m promoting libraries.
