		<description>Hate to be the first to tell you, but even long- time professional writers break into a sweat about being found out as frauds. The day my friend Patty MacLachlan won the Newbery for SARAH PLAIN AND TALL, she phoned and said, "I'm afraid they are going to ask for the Medal back once they realize I really don't know how to write."

And Edith Wharton quoted (and translated) a French writer who said, "I dream of an eagle, I give birth to a hummingbird." Forgetting, I suppose, how gorgeous the hummingbird is. And it flies.
