I admit I just sat here and listened to this podcast of me by John Lindner of the Baltimore Sun, and my only defense is that the questions were excellent and the editing equally fine. It was fun to be able to talk about library use, intellectual freedom, children’s services, the Open Content Alliance, the nature of librarians, Sophie, and even writing… just for a start!

I just listened to the whole thing. What a great interview! I learned more interesting and valuable things about libraries and librarians in that 29 minutes than I learned in five years of working for ALA. The medium makes a difference, huh?!
The next time you need a soundtrack for an essay, give me a buzz. I think I have some decent music around here somewhere.

Thanks for the lovely mention!
And we should talk sometime about an article about the latest bibliotechnologies for that “technology magazine.”
