Laurie, I have to cut off a hunk. I keep wondering what “petite” means — “petite giant,” like “jumbo shrimp?”

Another last minute hemmer here! But I’m usually letting the hems out instead of taking them up. Except in the UK where tall actually means really tall and are too long for me. What a treat that is!

Another last-minute hemmer here! The problem with pants is that you can’t hem them WHILE wearing them. With skirts, you can actually do them en route to an event, as long as someone else is doing the driving.
