Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Planes and Libraries

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

All kinds of magical things are happening these days.

A plane crashes except everyone is safe and then it turns out the hero-pilot is a library user, and the library waives his fees (smart move there, library) and buys a new book in his honor, and it’s all celebrated on the national news, which means Folks Somewhere are Doing Their Job.

Then it turns out there is a book that marries the best of all possible worlds: “the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone crunching zombie action.”

All we need now is for the mainstream media to stop focusing on Rush Limbaugh’s spittle-flecked bloviations (I actually heard the word “bloviate” on NPR the other day — go you, my little radio network!) and we will really feel a change in course!

I love the Austen+zombies concept! Let’s add zombies to other classic works, especially Shakespeare. This could be the birth of a new, wonderful genre.

Taking the original text of Jane Austen’s famous book, author Seth Grahame-Smith infuses all kinds of zombie goodness.http://www.associatedcontent.comarticle/1518879/pride_and_prejudice_and_zombies.html
