This was a delightful (and much-needed) good-bye gift from FPOW (Former Place of Work)–not just coffee and a mug, but a pound a month for a year of the best coffee in the world, Peet’s! Wendy, Pat, Maria, Jennifer, and Charlotte–I’ll miss you folks! I’d tell you to behave, but that would be saying “do as I say, not as I do…”

That’s a good gift for a Tallahassee transplant! Pete’s is only sold at one store here as far as I know and that’s been a recentish development. Some former West Coasters were importing Pete’s at top dollar prices. 😉
At least unlike wine it’s not illegal to ship coffee to Florida!
Fresh Market does have Peet’s, but I snubbed it. Sandy mail-ordered, at, like you say, top-dollar prices. Me, I am set for a year now, thanks to the lovely FPOW team! All hail FPOW!
Karen, that’s a marvelous gift! I hope it makes your first year in your new home happier!
Me, I’m a true Peet’s snob! I’ve been mail-ordering Peet’s since I moved away from the Bay Area in the early 1990s….
