Are these Banned Books Week bracelets not completely irresistable? Kudos to ALA for this great idea. And how timely–it’s only 43 shopping days til my birthday! I will print off this entry and casually leave it on the dining room table…

Ohh..thanks for the pointer. One shopping day to my wife’s birthday, but a second birthday present a bit later never hurt anything, eh?
As I noted in the comments section of the order form, however, I wish they had an adult-sized “kids” bracelet for elementary school and children’s librarians. What a subtle way to suggest new reading material!
Sandy’s gonna get you a Captain Underpants bracelet?
I tried to order one through their online form…. fingers crossed that it will arrive (no field for country – OIF should be aware that there are many members in the ALA International category). That’s the worst form I’ve seen in a long time.
