Consider yourself invited: ALA President-Elect Leslie Burger is hosting a blogger’s bash/reception at ALA Annual Conference on Saturday, June 24 10:30 until whenevah in her suite at the Hilton Riverside, Room 2706. She is combining this event for the bloggers with a reception honoring the librarians from Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.
In her words, “this will provide a great opportunity for the bloggers to talk to the heroes from Katrina.” In my words, free food and drink, and the meatware presence of people I enjoy? Got 2 b there! Darien Library is supplying the food and Leslie is supplying the drinks. She didn’t ask for an RSVP, but you can always drop a note at her blog if you feel compelled to share.
Which reminds me… I gotta register for Annual! I’ve had my room for months. I just hadn’t done the reg thing.
