Alas, one must suffer for one’s art. I had wanted to present at Internet Librarian this year, to talk about the magical changes at My Place of Work. I had tentative approval, but I needed to present in the morning to ensure I didn’t miss class that evening, which would have required moving someone else’s slot several hours earlier. Despite a month of discussion, it apparently just could not be.
Perhaps I’ll make one of the preconferences; I would absolutely love to learn more about OAI, and who better than Roy Tennant to row me across that river?
