Someone from ip address 152.15.100.8 sent an anonymous message referring to my previous post by saying “what a tremendous waste of taxpayer dollars.” First, don’t be such a coward: sign your name. Second, not a nickel has been misspent from the very tiny pot of money we have had available to upgrade our site. In fact, for the most part, vendors gave us decent prices and delivered hand over fist. Meanwhile we continued to do a great job day in and out, and though it has taken more time and effort than we anticipated we will get a site that serves our users much better. Later when I’m not blogging at a conference on a treo I will write at length about where we came from and where we are going… and I will do an ip lookup.
Nothing Went to Waste

University of North Carolina. Perhaps a person with a mistaken notion that they are paying for California’s budget? Check hostmaster@uncc.edu for the exact info on that IP address … assuming it’s not dynamically assigned from a pool.

Hm. Your anonymous antagonist is from UNC. http://samspade.org/t/lookat?a=152.15.100.8
Whoa! It’s been a while since I checked out your blog in its native interface. I’m guessing you announced the layout change earlier this month. I was too busy to catch up on all of my blog reading, so I skipped a bunch of entries.
