Here’s the catch: BookQueueToo and Movable Type dynamic publishing are apparently incompatible. Six Apart pointed me to a Knowledge Base entry that discussed the type of error message I was seeing with the MT entries (“The requested page could not be found. Smarty error: [in evaluated template line 17]: syntax error: unrecognized tag ‘MTBookQueueEntries’ (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 556)” ).
I don’t need dynamic publishing as much as I need to show off what I read. š

What about the old BookQueue? I use it. I can list books in different categories and link to reviews in my blog. I looked at BookQueueToo, and it has some nifty additional features, but not enough to make me want to change right now.
