Just in case you’ve tried to email me, Fastmail has been down since Thursday afternoon. I’ve loved their service for over a year (reliable, good IMAP support, nice Web client), so I’m dismayed by the restoration schedule. Three and a half days to get my mail back?
In any event, I just had one of those “natural blonde” errors: I tried to log in to my ISP to do a little work on one of the domains, couldn’t remember my password, so thought, oh, I’ll just email it to myself (the action for which automatically deletes the old password)… which is what I did, sending my new password to an unreachable address. Ouch, that was dumb! Fortunately, I had recently set up my MPOW address as a backup address…
You can always email me at MPOW, kgs at lii dot org. I’ll update when the bluehighways.com email is working again. Would I even miss any of that mail, I wonder?
