Well, not exactly, but the MFA office–which is almost always as trusty as an atomic clock–sent out a message this evening saying that they had made a mistake in a message last month; the second-year readings are being held on August 23 and 24, not 24 and 25. Every day counts for our Excellent Adventure (and helps make it a little more Excellent).
Whew… now I know the travel diary won’t have to read, “Day 1, Palo Alto to Albuquerque…” Though we might try for Needles, as we have memories from the 2001 trip of swimming in a motel pool at 7 a.m., the water still warm from the previous day’s sun.
